USPA president Patrick Kanyomozi attacked comedian Patrick Salvado over the weekend calling him out for siding with those of the unpopular opinion camp – pro MAMAs – tweeting that he admires his bravery.
“I like the bravery of @Idringip & @SheilahGashumbain trying to ‘handle’ @Smith_JeffreyT. I last saw such courage when 100 Vietnamese soldiers thought they could handle one US commando, in a
movie. Soon Big Eye and Full Figure might take on Hon Semujju in a political debate in English,” he tweeted.
Salvado got back to him with a long thread dressing him down on why he stands by his opinion. Informing him that he lost a brother in so has an idea about the wrongs happening in the country and loves it regardless, therefore, Patrick Kanyomozi has nothing on him.
“Dear @PatriqKanyomozi I decided to dedicate this to you based on a tweet alleging those not talking or sharing about the wrongs happening don’t love their country & your passion in rallying behind an evil man @Smith_JeffreyT and his selfish agenda.” he replied.
He added: “Let me tell you about the pain of losing someone murdered by those meant to protect them. On the 2nd of Feb 2001 during the elections, my big brother Alex Adiga Remo was murdered in cold blood by security agancies who were patrolling Makerere University.”
