On the 12th May 2021, the President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni swore in for the sixth term at Kololo Airstrip. The event was successfully carried out and also graced by several
guests including other Presidents, ambassadors, and many more international dignitaries. But Balaam Barugahara says he was not the organizer.
However it was so embarrassing how the person in charge of planning did not think about how big and important the event was and decided to poorly organize it. so many images made rounds on social media showing how uncomfortable the guests were on un cushioned seats. Baring in mind that it’s always Balaam Barugahara that plans the president’s events.
Most people started point fingers on him. Balaam was triggered to come out and clear his name form poor and a shaming organization. He took it on his social media informing people that he had no hand in the event planning or sound provision. He additionally called upon everyone to take this as a lesson so as to plan well next time.
“I have seen this and many more. I want to make it clear I was not involved in Kololo Event planning or sound provision. Whatever happened I have nothing to do with it. The event was managed by Digida Events.” Balaam Barugahara started.
“However this should be a key learning experience we should plan well next time this humiliation to our Great important invited Guests shouldn’t happen again. A nice VIP chair hire cost 3000shs from Fotogenix, A sit cover hire cost is 350shs Apologies to all the humiliated Guests on behalf of all Ugandans,” he added.
