Former Lubaga South Member of Parliament, ex singer and current comedian Kato Lubwama is dead. On a very sad note that, we break the news of the sudden death of former legislature Kato Lubwama.
This sad news has been confirmed on his social media handles including Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook, a pots read “Bitalo, Hon Kato Lubwama Paul afudde” meaning, “sad, Hon Kato Lubwama Paul is dead. And again, a post from Papa Mesach Ssemakula confirmed the death wishing him to rest in peace.
On Twitter, a post that quoted a Facebook post said, “Sad News, Admin.” Sad feelings are being seen everywhere, and this time Ugandans have lost one that made them happy and made them smile despite his ailing health.
Remember, Hon Kato Lubwama was at first initiated in the hearts of Ugandans as an artiste with his song called Have Mercy, and many more. And his music craft sold him beyond hearts, and the he also came in the picture of comedy. This sold him up to when he died because he has been still doing it on social media and stage.
For example, by the time he died, he had a stage drama play show that was slated to happen on the 7th of July 2023. The show has been named “Shauri Yako” that was to happen at Serena Hotel. He later on joined politics and he was the Member of Parliament Lubaga South for only one term of 5 years.
The real cause of Kato Lubwama’s death is a heart issue which has disturbed him for a very long time. It should be remembered that, he has been in and out of international hospitals to seek medical attention which he would get and come back to Uganda.
