Today, security personnel apprehended a group of naked women protestors who were not clothed, causing a major disturbance in the vicinity of the Parliament building. These protesters using a new tactic nudity apparently have taken the Gen-Z anti-corruption demonstrations in Kampala in an unexpected direction. The naked women demonstrators, who were opposing corruption in Parliament, attracted notice from onlookers and security guards right away when they took off their clothing in protest. The family of Uganda’s former attorney General,  Kiddu Makubuya has confirmed that he has passed away at the age of 75. After a protracted illness, Makubuya, a law professor and former dean of Makerere University’s school of law died today Monday 19th. His age was 75. News coming in show that the sh42 billion fuel reimbursement that Members of Parliament (MPs) have been requesting for the last three years has finally been authorized and released by the government, giving MPs cause for celebration. This reimbursement will be credited to MPs’ bank accounts this week, making up for the higher fuel costs they have been subjected to since the 11th Parliament convened in May 2021. The mileage allowance that each Member of Parliament receives is reported to be between sh75 million and sh90 million.
