Uganda artiste Ykee Benda has advised upcoming musicians to invest their time and energy in making music rather than wasting time and energy beefing established brands to attract attention.
While appearing on NBS TV‘s UNCUT kalakata, Ykee Benda says it’s interesting on how musicians think they can make it to the top by trolling others. He said it takes hard work and unity to make it in the industry because as musicians they need one another.
“These young artists need to just concentrate on making music instead of seeking relevance and attracting attention from the audience. They should stop jumping on already established brands. They can save that time and energy or use it to produce good music.” He said
In the same interview Ykee responded to Bruno K’s allegations accusing him of stealing his girlfriend years back. He said that if Bruno K wanted to make headlines then he would have hit him up.

He said that after realizing that what Bruno K wanted was nothing but attention he decided to give him a deaf ear. And like others he also asked him to stop wasting time but instead use that time to produce good music.
