According to the study conducted this year 2022 from February up to September, we have collected the list of the top and best websites in Uganda 2022-2033 basing on the frequency they post their stories on, the stories coverage, search on Google and the authenticity in the stories with the style of writing.
We are getting and listing those websites that have taken the capacity to inform and entertain Ugandans. The same study was conducted through polls on social media and private messaging to different users. Here is the full list.
Mbu (www.mbu.ug.com)
It has stood a test of time, and it has not stopped entertaining and informing Ugandans. The website is very famous and best known for its breaking stories first and also doing controversial stories about private lives of celebrities, something that has made it be on the number one spot.
Times Uganda (www.timesuganda.com)
This website has been in existence for more than two years, and it comes in as number two in the top and best entertainment websites in Uganda 2022-2023. Its best known for its stories which are posted on average 10 daily, and it is more known for doing the most updated celebrity biographies, breaking news, music news and more.
Blizz Uganda (www.blizz.co.ug)
This website comes in as number three. It is a legendary website best known for its controversies about celebrities and their lives. More so, Blizz is well known for providing exclusive news about celebrities, music downloads and giving a platform for young celebrities to grow. The same website has a radio called Blizz Radio.
Celeb Patrol (www.celebpatrol.com)
This is commonly known for its legit stories in the entertainment industry and also giving celebrity news to people on time. Celeb Patrol also offers exclusive news that you may not find anywhere else on the internet. The story posting frequency is on average 5 posts a day and more people run that side to get fresh news.
Exclusive Uganda (www.exclusive.co.ug)
Just like it’s name, the website is always posting fast and first with news that may be hard to easily find anywhere else. It comes in as number five, and it is known for digging deep into celebrity lives and giving their controversial stories about these celebrities. This keeps Ugandans entertained and knowing what happens outside their houses quickly.
Boom Gossip (www.boom.ug)
This falls in as number six. Boom Gossip is commonly known for uploading their stories very fast and also following everything that happens in the lives of the celebrities and updating Ugandans about it. The same website, is known for jumping on all trending news and doing it as it drops.
Big Eye (www.bigeye.ug)
Big eye is in this position because it built it’s the oldest website with a name but uploads very few stories. Due to their huge following, once they upload any story it goes viral very fast. Basing on the research, people still search for it on Google so much thus becoming a safe spot to get informed and entertained.
Pulse Uganda (www.pulse.ug)
This website comes in at number eight. It is one of the entertainment website on this list and started at the beginning of year 2022. But due to the huge following and controversial entertainment stories it has managed to appear in the top/best entertainment websites in Uganda 2022-2023.
Matooke Republic (www.matookerepublic.com)
This website is hugely known for controversial entertainment and political stories that they upload daily on their website. And this year 2022, the website has been known for breaking entertainment stories and covering of many social events as they happened in Uganda.
However, their daily stories uploads are on average 3 which is slightly low. It comes at number Nine in the top/best entertainment websites in Uganda 2022-2023.
