Is Erias Lukwago dead? It is on a sad note that the current Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago is being rumored to have passed on. Yes, news making viral rounds indicate that Erias Lukwago is dead after he collapsed on the prayer masses for the late Archbishop Lwanga Kizito.
This led for him to be flown from Uganda on an emergency note after he failed to respond to the medication he was put on after the fainting event. The destination was Kenya where he is getting specialized treatment up to now. Although, word from his close family members indicate that he is badly off and he needs everyone’s prayer.
It should be remembered that, Erias Lukwago suffered the same situation last year in 2020 where he was rushed to Nairobi, Kenya and received treatment. Now, again the same case has driven him back to his old sick bed. And everyone’s question, is Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago dead?
Well, the fact is that, he is still alive despite rumor making him dead, although, still heavy rumor again relate his sickness to a possible poisoning that he may have got some time back. All this is a media talk, since no medical doctor has confirmed this, or even Erias Lukwago himself has not opened about this allegation.

And, Erias Lukwago is not dead, he still needs prayers as we continue to pray for Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi too who fall under the same boat as Lukwago, they are both having ill health.
