Ahead of the Winter games matchday reunion on the 16th October 2021 at Kireka Recreation Center, Winter FC has officially announced online news channel Cyclone Times their headline sponsor. Cyclone Times is an online news channel owned by Interlet Limited (www.interletug.com), an ICT company based in Uganda. Cyclone Times will be Winter FC’s shirt sponsor. The partnership was announced last week on Saturday at the Interlet Limited offices in Banda Kampala Uganda.
While speaking at the launch of this marriage between the two parties, Interlet Limited’s Head of News and Media Mr. Dhikusooka Brian noted that Winter FC is a very good club full of natural talent.
Therefore, it’s one of the reasons why their online media channel joined hands with the club ahead of the new season.
“Winter FC is a new baby that is making its way to the Butiki league. As Cyclone Times, we saw a very good opportunity working with this club because surely, they have good objectives. The club is full of natural talent and also, they look at grooming and developing young talents.” Dhikusooka Brian said. CEO Interlet Limited and Founder of Cyclone Times, Mr. Mukisa Vicent was happy with the partnership between the two parties.
“Interlet Limited was started through youths’ support and community engagement and this has since been one of our areas that we always want to support. It is a pleasure that now we are partnering and sponsoring a composed youths Football Club. And our aim in this regard is to reach out to the youths and support them through sports as one way of promoting talents,” Mukisa Vicent said.
“Though, we center so much on computing and ICT skills capacity building and services, we also see the need to promote talent, good health and community engagement through activities like sports.
In this new partnership we hope that Winter FC will raise its value and create a community impact in the youths countrywide.
I once again confirm and will ensure our support towards Winter’s activities whenever called for,” Vicent added.
While speaking at the event, Winter FC’s head of finance Mr. Oyuki Ivan thanked the management of Interlet Limited to take on Winter FC’s Shirt sponsorship.
“As Winter FC (Kiira college Butiki Cohort of 2009-2014), we are honored to be in this partnership with Interlet Limited/ Cyclone times as our shirt sponsors. We thank the management for giving us the opportunity and we look forward to working hand in hand with you for the entire period of this contract. We hope for the best throughout this period as we see our team triumph through the Butiki League tournament that is yet to commence. We believe that with hard work of our team and maximum corporation with the stake holders of Cyclone times/Interlet Limited, we shall be the victors of the Butiki League tournament,” Oyuki Ivan said.
