Sophie Gombya, who happens to be the Uganda Musician Association president says that most
musicians always want to live beyond there levels. During a local television interview, Sophie said that most musicians will continue to be chased out of the houses by their landlords because they live beyond there means.
Some do not have money to pay rent since they have not been working. In addition, for all the periods they have been in lockdown. She went ahead to advise the musicians to find cheaper houses that they can afford instead of fighting with there landlords in this lockdown. She said most of these people spend their earning and savings trying to live a luxurious lifestyle.

“Musicians always live beyond their means. That’s why many will continue to be chased from rented houses. In addition, some of these musicians need to find houses that are cheaper. This will stop the fights with their landlords in this lockdown. In addition, where they are not earning a penny from their music” Sophie Gombya roared.
