We woke up on the sad news of the passing on of Uganda’s TikTok baby Becky Amutuhaire 10. This happened today at Mulago hospital, just a few days to her charity even that was slated to happen from Royal Suits in Bugolobi that was spearheaded by Karitas Karisimbi.
Her caretaker/father Allan Luyirika has confirmed the sad news and said that, it is so sad that we lost the sweet angel who lost the battle to diseases caused by HIV/AIDS. Allan also continued to inform us that, Becky Amutuhaire died fighting so hard to see another day, and the funeral arrangements are to be communicated soonest.
Who is Becky Amutuhaire?
She is a girl that was born with HIV/AIDS and she was dumped by her mother on buses heading to FortPortal. It was a dark day for the little girl who was aged 7 years at that time, she has a bad skin disease and her mother took her to the bus and promised her that wherever she was going, she would find Whites that would feed her and take her to school.
When the bus reached in FortPortal, she was put in the bus park and that was all. A Samaritan saw her and picked her, then connected her to the current caretaker Allan Luyirika. She has been in and out of hospital all her time. This year, TikTokers and well wishers contributed to her medical bills and she was discharged from Mulago hospital.
After a few months at home, her conditions worsened and she was brought back to Mulago hospital acute ward. That is where she breathed her last from, but her story inspired a lot of people and touched many people worldwide. She was a prayerful girl, she loved to get education and she melted every heart that touched her painful life. Rest with Angels Becky Amutuhaire.
