The most visited restaurant in Uganda called Cafe Javas awarded Susan Makula Bugingo on Thursday,
March 10, 2022 with UGX 5million for being a “Woman of Excellence”.
This comes after nominations were done by different fans around the country making her the
most voted indefinitely.
Susan Makula Bugingo is the director at Church Girl Foundation LTD whose mission is ‘to empower girls from poor and deprived areas in Uganda. The foundation gives free training to girls in making
reusable sanitary pads because they believe it is a basic need.
On top of that, they rehabilitate teen mothers physically and emotionally and help them get skills
as well as basic education to pursue their dreams. That’s why the Salt TV presenter was nominated as a Woman of Excellence.
This comes days after Suzan Makula Bugingo and the lead Pastor for House of Prayer Ministries and
proprietor for Salt Media were summoned by court for carrying out a customary marriage yet still
married to Teddy Bugingo.
According to the Marriage Act Section 42 states that any person still under marriage goes
through any ceremony of marriage with a person he/she is not married to commits an offense
and is liable to be convicted.
