Judith Heard visits the Museum of Environment in Rwanda

Ugandan socialite and model Judith Heard has visited the Museum of Environment in Rwanda in her latest voyage of the country. The Museum of the Environment located is near Lake Kivu in the Western Province.

This Museum of the Environment covers two floors with a traditional herbal medicine garden on the rooftop. It’s the first of its kind on the continent. It looks at renewable and non-renewable sources of energy.

“It is designed as an educational centre for our visitors, many of them local. Its purpose is to help people understand and safeguard their environment, and ensure integrated and durable development.” Judith Heard explained

Meanwhile, the Museum of the Environment is one of the eight museums that make up the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda. It should be recalled that the popular model a few months ago won the Miss Environment Africa International Award in India.

This was a reward for her impact in trying to create awareness towards the the climate and environment on the Continent. The awards were aimed at boosting environmental conservation across the globe.

She has been a very active member in activities such as plastic bottle collection, recycling and tree planting seminars across Uganda. Nalongo Judith has been in Rwanda over the past few weeks showcasing her talent and was also specially invited for the gorilla naming function Kwita Izina in the country.

This had some of the elite names in entertainment and sports such as ex footballers Didier Drogba, Gilberto Silva among others. Since then, Judith has been showcasing Rwanda’s beauty, culture and tourist sites among others.
