Former NTV Uganda’s news anchor has come out to reveal where his next step is after quitting Nation Media Group. In a lengthy ‘thank you’ tweet, Frank Walusimbi revealed that he joined United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) Uganda chapter as the Associate Communications Officer.
More so, he continued to thank all his fans and well wishers for having stood by him all his time he was at NTV Uganda. In the same tweet, Frank Walusimbi chirped that his role is now purely humanitarian, a sign that his purpose is now fully served.
“Folks, i took a new role as Associate Communications officer at UNHCR Uganda, for some days now, I have been fathoming out an appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when i announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV” Frank Walusimbi started his appreciation post. He continued to assert that all Ugandans with refugee matters and queries, they should contact them.
“Words can not express my gratitude, my role is spanned by humanitarian work and I invite you to contact us should you have an inquiry about refugee matters. Thank you and best wishes” Frank Walusimbi concluded.
It should be remembered that, Uganda is the largest refugee hosting country in Africa, and it is the biggest habitant for DRC refugees. Congratulations Frank Walusimbi.
