Singer Bernard Ricky Koroma better known by his stage name Ricky D Don (Officer Ricky) is a Sierra Leone recording artist, songwriter, Producer, Sound Engineer and performer. He was born on 7th May in the city of Matatoka in Tonkolili District, however, raised in the capital city Freetown, Sierra Leone.
He, however, started recording music at a tender age with the likes of B face, and they Recorded their first Album
which was Launched at Ricky’s Home (Matatoka). As we all know charity’s begins at home; from that point Singer Ricky Koroma began build up his fan base in the North East and North West.
Ricky D Don was also signed to a record deal with the Group Called AVI (Gospel) based in Makeni in 2014. They released a single Called ‘’LOVE NOR DAE BEN” featuring NEGA DON OF LXG, the Audio and
Video cut across the Borders of Sierra Leone and they were nominated for best Gospel group at the
NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS 2018.

Ricky Koroma signed under Kay Squad Music one of his biggest signings as a Solo artist. In addition, recording quality songs including “ANYTHING FOR LOVE” which the label released first with a video. More new songs have been released ‘’TEL AM TENKEY’’ and ‘’USAI U COMOT’’. Currently, he is also Working on the
promotions.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
He went to the Moyiba Community Primary School and completing his NPSE exams. In addition, and furthered his Junior and Senior Secondary education to the Government Municipal Secondary School located Ferry Junction. Therefore this is where he completed his WASSCE exams. Ricky also has a certificate in sound engineer at Sound and Art for Change (sAch) and he is preparing to enter university.
