Today, security personnel apprehended a group of naked women protestors who were not clothed, causing a major disturbance in the vicinity of the Parliament building. These protesters using a new tactic nudity apparently have taken the Gen-Z anti-corruption demonstrations in Kampala in an unexpected direction.
The naked women demonstrators, who were opposing corruption in Parliament, attracted notice from onlookers and security guards right away when they took off their clothing in protest. Participants in the allegedly prearranged demonstration marched toward Parliament while brandishing placards bearing a variety of messages.
A few of the notes called for the Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) to be held accountable for the recent disaster at the Kiteezi dump. Security personnel moved swiftly to defuse the situation, taking the demonstrators into custody and taking them to a secret location.
The naked demonstrators “show how naked” corruption and the corrupt are in Uganda, according to human rights attorney Eron Kiiza.
“Will the government led by Kaguta Museveni finally see and address (dress) the corruption?” he asked in a post on X, formerly Twitter. The Police “should look for the corrupt instead of gazing at the naked young women,” according to Mr. Kiiza.
Kampala Deputy lord mayor Doreen Nyanjura said that “Three brave women activists; Kemitooma (Siperia Mollie), Norah Kobusingye and Aloikin Praise have been arrested at parliament avenue where they staged a nude protest against corruption.”

Traffic was briefly stopped and there was a disturbance in the vicinity due to the demonstration, but everything returned to normal soon after the arrests. Social media users are sharply divided in their perspectives regarding the appropriateness and efficacy of this type of protest in the wake of the occurrence.
