Vision Group to Lay off Workers Over COVID-19 Cases Increase

The Vision group media is in dilemma after increasing and alarming COVID-19 cases amongst the staff, the CEO Vision group Robert Kabushenga this morning has confirmed the development which he has affirmed that it will see the workers at vision group work in shifts and cohorts.

In a leaked chat with his fellow Executive Directors, Kabushenga has revealed that the Uganda will go back to lockdown levels as cases countrywide surge. This development follows the increasing number of vision staff shooting to 13 confirmed cases with COVID-19. Vision group has of recent been routinely carrying out COVID-19 tests to ascertain the health status of each employee.

However, in a shocking revelation, Kabushenga has threatened to lay off some workers who will either
adamantly or accidentally fail to comply with issued guidelines once put in place. It should also be noted that Uganda has 2,263 confirmed cases with 1,226 recoveries and 20 fatalities. This statistical data is by 24th of August as updated by the Ministry of heath in Uganda.
