Source Management artiste Hajjarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana has revealed how she and Sheebah are now very great friends. She added that they talk constantly and even call each other. This is after Sheebah attended the Body singer’s EP launch party a number of weeks ago.
Spice said that she personally called Sheebah to attend this party. And she was so glad when the self-styled Queen karma responded positively.
“I called Sheebah and invited her for my EP listening party and gladly she accepted my invitation. Since then, we have been communicating a lot that recently, she called just to check on me,” Spice Diana revealed.
The two artists were known to be sworn enemies prior to this meeting. There was no doubt about the bad blood between them. This was fuelled the more by their fans who kept on pinning them against each other. Through their social media handles, the duo would also aim indirect digs at each other.
It was therefore a big surprise when Sheebah showed up at Spice Diana’s launch party. The former TNS singer moved onto the stage and exchanged a hug with Spice Diana as both women went on to compliment each other. It was then that Spice Diana revealed that Sheebah was one of her inspirations prior to joining the music industry. This is a move that nobody anticipated but was applauded by many.
Apparently, Spice Diana is not a fan of beefs in the music industry as she addressed the issue too. She wondered why some artists feel insecure when a new artist shows up yet the industry is just big for everyone.
“There’s a culture in Uganda’s music industry that when a new artist crops up, others tend to feel like that artist is going to outshine them, yet the cake is big for everyone.” Spice Diana
