The First son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba retirement hits as he has ended his 28 years tenure serving the army of Uganda. The country was served to the news of Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba retirement and he is now se to face the next challenge which many of us may not know. But let us break down for you what his retirement means.

As we later on said, that Muhoozi’s retirement is bad news for Bobi Wine, this why the whole circle rings around the political arena. First, this is a mission accomplished for the old man with the hat, HE Gen. YK Museveni, if we all remember the days of MUHOOZI PROJECT where it was alleged that Sevo was preparing his son for presidency, now we see the light coming out.

After 28 years of service in my glorious military, the greatest military in the World, I am happy to announce my retirement. Me and my soldiers have achieved so much! I have only love and respect for all those great men and women that achieve greatness for Uganda everyday” Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba announced retirement.

Now, it should be remembered that, ever since those days of the Muhoozi project, the retired Lt Gen. himself started to be politically active, and we have been following him in all his deeds, he later on became political. In a twist of things, he started verbal exchange with Bobi Wine aka Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert who acted as a threat to his father’s throne in the last presidential elections.

Now that he has retired, we are at 99% chances of seeing Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba on the presidential ballot paper come 2026! This will definitely bring two youthful contestants in the race (Bobi Wine and Muhoozi), something that will likely spark a sharp competition, and definitely be a record election!

Now, since Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba wants to be politically active after retirement, let us brace ourselves to face reality and wait what comes on.
