It is a very sad and hard time for NTV Uganda as a television station and Faridah Nakazibwe fans in general. This is after she reportedly left the Serena based television NTV Uganda after a whooping 17 years on tv.
More news coming in to this website indicate that, her last show at the television is that where she hosted former television personality Flavia Tumusiime in her famous and most watched Mwasuze Mutya show. Whatever is running through your mind is, who is going to replace her at the Mwasuze Mutya show, right? we got the answer.
Faridah Nakazibwe joined NTV Uganda in September 2006 as a junior news anchor of the Luganda local language bulletin called NTV Akawungezi. She became so famous on that and she was hardly inseparable with the segment at the station.
Further more, she has been the face of Mwasuze Mutya morning show where she hosted people that inspire the public to talk about their life journeys during weekdays. And we are reliably informed that, she will be replaced by a one Ruth Kalibbala who hosted the show on Monday morning.
Briefly, who is Faridah Nakazibwe?
She was born to the late Shakib Ssenyonjo and Sarah Ssenyonjo, in what is present-day Sembabule District. She is the second-born in a family of eight siblings and she is a mother of 2 beautiful girls whose father is Engineer Dan Nankunda. She attended Kisozi Boarding Primary School, in Kisozi, Gomba District for her early primary education.
She continued to Taibah High School located in Kawempe, a Kampala city Suburb where she obtained her High School Diploma. She then went on to the Islamic University in Uganda, in Mbale, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Communication.
In September this year 2023, she graduated with her Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Victoria University. Reports coming in so, indicate that she is now headed to focusing on her personal businesses that include SMILE Nakazibwe Foundation.
