Citizens have been urged to remain at home on the 10th of May 2024 by the government. This is after the day being designated as a public holiday to ensure a smooth national population census activity. The announcement was made by Didacus Okoth the senior public relations officer at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS). Embattled member of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Hon Mathias Mpuuga has notified the party that he’s not going anywhere. He made the remarks in the much-anticipated press conference he held today.
