You Should Stop targeting The International Market. BEBE COOL
Legendary singer, Moses Sali commonly known as Bebe Cool warns musicians to stop targeting the international market but try to become stars in their own countries.
The Gagamel boss, was today asked to give his honest opinion about B2C’s new hit titled “ It’s Okay”. In response to this, Bebe Cool showed his dissatisfaction with the song as he compared it with “Gutujja” saying that song can not even trend in Uganda.
“They had that song ‘Gutujja’. It was a big song and I’m sure they can perform across Uganda with that. However I can not say the same about ‘It’s Okay’. Many musicians have turned their focus on capturing the international market and that is where they go wrong. I can tell you, money is here. They should focus on what makes them stars here,” he said.
However, it should be noted that according to the B2C’s manager the song is already a hit in Nigeria which shows that they have already started their journey well.
The “it’s okey song is an Amapiano type of music which is style of house music that originated from South Africa where the B2C featured Mc Africa.
