The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) responsible for all exams at Primary and Secondary levels has revealed when to expect the release of the 2024 UACE results. It should be recalled that exams at the Primary level (PLE), Ordinary level, and O level (UCE) have all been released in the previous two months respectively.
Taking to their X/Twitter page, UNEB teased its followers with the release date of these exams. They didn’t reveal the precise date but only showed the month of March. And as usual, these exams will be released by the First Lady who also doubles as the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni.
A day earlier ,UNEB distanced itself from rumors that these exams will be released on the 7th of March by the Minister of Higher Education, Hon JC Muyingo. However, strong links suggest that these exams might be released tomorrow Thursday 7th March. This is despite UNEB brushing away this rumored UACE results 2024 release date.
The fact that Friday when these national exams are usually released will be 8th March, a public holiday, Women’s Day, leaves Thursday as the only open date this week. Learners who sat for these exams have taken to UNEB’s X page to express their anxiety.
Most of these wondered why UNEB is playing games on them yet a simple communication would be easy to iron away the confusion and guesses. One person actually said that these are not music videos when you have to tease the public about the release date.

“Our results are not music videos communicate a date and stop playing with our heart rates” one commenter mentioned. “Now you want to surprise us? just tell us the date …soon is what?” Said another.
Well their anxiety and curiosity can be understood. This is like a judgement day for them and anyone who has ever sat for these UACE Exams knows the ordeal one goes through when the release date nears.
But as for now, we can simply await the official communication of UNEB about the release date of the 2024 UACE results.
