Parents who took their children to Precious Primary School – Katooke in Nansana Municipality are stranded with their children after their PLE results never came back. This would be understandable, the Director of the school Nabakoza Agnes is allegedly giving them hope without revealing the truth.
Precious Primary school – Katooke is located in Katooke, on Wamala road in Nansana and it was among those schools that were suspected by UNEB to have done examination malpractice, consequently, the results of 50 candidates were withheld and only 36 received theirs.
These examination malpractice allegations were kept a top secret by the school administration especially the Director who insisted that the 2023 candidates were to get their results. This gave parents hopes until she started playing around telling them to be patient for day, then weeks until they became impatient.
After weeks, Nabakoza Agnes the director reportedly told them that UNEB was still demanding her some balance, so she was to clear and have the rest of the results released. With the twist of events, she came up with another excuse that UNEB wanted to meet the candidates and do some cross examination on them.
This is when an arrangement was made by the school administration to have candidates having a night at the school premises before they faced the UNEB committee. Furthermore, they were briefed whole night on what to say to the committee by denying that they were not involved in examination malpractice.
Our reporter was sent to the school administration for clarity on this story, and it was revealed that, the PLE results were withheld for malpractice, something the director is hiding from parents. When we asked as to why the parents are not yet informed, our reporter was told that the parents are aware, yet they are not.

The director Nabakoza Agnes was not available at school, we contacted her for a comment, she instead with the help of some man on the call started to threaten to harm our reporter and ordered him to vacate the school premises.
This is the same way these parents have been kept in the dark as some of them mention being threatened by the director because she feels so much ‘protected’. Injustice, impunity, have covered this whole situation.
As you read this, some of the parents are still stranded with their children at home, hoping to get good news from the school administration. Yet there is nothing, the director is reportedly still playing pin pong games.
