It’s great to announce that the most talented group in Uganda and worldwide dubbed Masaka Kids Africana has been nominated.
The kids will represent Uganda for the annual award ceremony by Nickelodeon to celebrate children’s top choices in entertainment media.
Furthermore, they have been selected for the category of Favorite African Kidfluencer. The talented kids were super overwhelmed to be selected and couldn’t hide the joy as they shared on their social media pages.
They have been nominated with other kids’ dance groups from Africa like Adaeze Onuigbo, Sassy Taylor, Sbahle Mzizi, Uncle Vinny. These are representing their countries too like Nigeria, and South Africa respectively.
The Kid Choice Awards 2022 will be co-hosted by iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski.
The Masaka Kids Africana is composed of African children, from the age of 2 and up. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine, and disease. They represent all the children of a continent and they demonstrate the potential of African children to become strong leaders for a better future in their land.
