Spice Diana Returns in Mega Post-Lockdown hit “Kigula Luggi”
Source Management’s Spice Diana is set to yet again return in a single dupped “kigula luggi” or better yet (batutadde).
The song is meant to usher the Performing Arts industry out of the lengthy two-year lockdown they have been under due to the wave of the noval Corona virus that had been apparent in the country since 2020.
Although Spice is dropping this song, it must be remembered that she is one of the singers that actively entertained Ugandans during the lengthy and unpredictable lockdown period.
She produced a number of songs not only with fellow Ugandan artists like Nince Henry but she also went on to produce songs with artists from other countries like Mbosso from neighboring Tanzania.
Here outstanding performance even won her an award as the best female singer in more than half of the African continent. Something that many Ugandan singers were not in position to accomplish.
So, she has yet again returned in a mega banger which this time speaks about how they have been released which is how the the Luganda word “batutadde” can easily be translated into English.
This specifically relates to the Performing Arts industry because although the President has been opening the economy gradually, it is the only industry that has never been opened.
However, this changed last night as for the first time in two years, the industry so the day of light as the president finally declared that 24th January is the day when they will be back to run in the economy.
