Juliana Kanyomozi is the best female vocal artiste, a first cousin to King Rukidi IV of Toro. Her father was a drummer and her grandmother was a vocalist. Juliana Kanyomozi also attended Namasagali College in Kamuli District for her high school education.

It is on record too that Juliana Kanyomozi was the first female artiste to win the ever prestigious Pearl of Africa Music Awards  (PAM) Artist of the Year’ accolade the time the awards were strong and sounding. Juliana also 2014 she secured a brand ambassador role for Oriflame a cosmetics company and she has worked as a judge on Tusker Project Fame.

Juliana Kanyomozi had one child a son, Keron Raphael Kabugo who she sired with her ex-lover Amon who stays in Busabala outside Kampala city center. Keron died in late July 2014 who is believed to have died of asthma related cases although it wasn’t made official. On Wednesday May 12 2020, Juliana announced that she had given birth to a baby boy whom she named Taj.

In 2010, she won the award in the Tanzania music awards as Best East African Song – “Haturudi Nyuma” with Kidum. Same year she won in the Diva Awards in Uganda under category Best RnB Artist – “Kantambule Naawe“. In 2011 she won in the East African Music Awards as Best Female Artiste – “Alive Again”. In 2011 still, she won in the Diva Music Awards Uganda under category Afrobeat Diva with her “Sanyu Lyange” song. Then in 2016 she won the Zzina award of Most Inspirational Song- “Woman
