Joseph Kabuleta Biography
Born on March 17th, 1972, at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala, Uganda to a Ugandan father and a Kenyan mother, Joseph Kabuleta is the 9th of 12 children. His mother, Margaret Kabuleta (1942–present), was born in Nairobi Kenya and is Kikuyu.
Education
Kabuleta did his Primary school education from an all-boys Catholic boarding school, Namilyango Junior Boys where he completed his primary school education in 1984. In 1985, he proceeded to Namilyango College where he did both his Ordinary and Advanced levels of education.
He then settled for a diploma in Civil Engineering from Uganda Technical College Mbale, from 1991 to 1993. Later as an employee of the New Vision, Joseph Kabuleta, studied Journalism and Mass Communication at Makerere University to cement his career as a writer and a journalist.

In 2011, after being married close to 8 years, Kabuleta divorced his first wife over irreconcilable differences. He talks extensively about it in his book, ‘Strength of Character’. He later remarried in July 2017. He has two children from his first marriage and one child from his second marriage.
Career
Joseph Kabuleta is a trained Civil Engineer and Journalist. He worked for the Crusader and the New Vision as sports columnist and reporter.
He hosted sports shows on Uganda’s top radio stations and television including Touch Down, 4:4:2 on WBS TV and NBS TV.
He also worked as President of the Uganda Sports Press Association. He has authored two books titled “The Richman Virus” and “Strength of Character”.
Kabuleta leads the “Watchman Ministries” a gathering of over 1000 weekly attendees and a weekly radio program in several parts of Uganda. Joseph Kabuleta is vocal about media rights, religious freedoms, sports and leadership issues.
