The Mityana Municipality newly elected NUP Member of Parliament Hon. Francis Zaake has been shot in the stomach. According to news reaching our desk, it is being believed that he is on a 50 50 scale of whether he may survive or die. So is Zaake Francis dead or alive?
Since internet and Social Media are still shutdown in Uganda after elections, the news has not moved so fast but, clear sources indicate that the legislator have been shot hours after being declared the winner of the Mityana Municipality elections that took place on the 14th of January 2021 under the NUP ticket.
It is being further alleged that the National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson has already arrived at the hospital where Zaake Francis is currently being admitted in a critical condition. More so, it is being said that he is in Intensive Care at Rubaga Hospital as you read this.
This comes a few hours after president Museveni Kaguta T. Yoweri has been declared as the President Elect of Uganda 2012-2026. He won with 58% as his major threat Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine got 34.83%.
Further, it is said that he was shot from Bobi Wine’s home when the military was shooting. This is not the first time Zaake Francis is nearing being dead, he has been into many life taking scandals and he has been into many surgeries the latest being that which affected his eye sight.
This is still a developing story, and we shall update you as soon as the events unfold whether Zaake makes it or not.
