Born Imelda Wairimu, and still holds the same name on stage, was born on 27/01/1991. She was given birth to, from a place called Kitale, in Kenya. She still lives in Kenya and sings in Kenya although she has been to Uganda for some time.

Imelda has attained her education up to University level, and she started her education journey from Maragua Summit Primary School. She then attended Eagles Nest Secondary School and ended it up at Kampala International University (Main Campus) in Uganda and she attained a Diploma in Development Studies.
