Following the recent fights between Halima Namakula and Phina Mugerwa which took place at Fairway Hotel. Allegedly these two fought on accusations
that Phina spreads false rumour about Halima sleeping with Gen. Elly Mayanja.
The two being representative of the Uganda Musicians Association they have been suspended from representing the association in any business at any level. As leaders of the Association, their action have been condemned because as leaders they are expected to act as examples to the public which Halima and Phina have failed at.
“On behalf of the Uganda Musicians Association Executive Committee Board the following Halima Namakula,Phina Mugerwa and Isaac Rucebigango should no longer represent any association in any business at any level or any form whatsoever. Any dealings with the fore mentioned persons shall be at your own individual risk.”
However in defense, Halima Namakula came out and revealed how she was not involved in a fight with Phina but just requested her to cut her mouth short.
“I can fight with her if I choose but I didn’t take that direction. I only asked her to stop spreading the falsehoods against me. I was tired of her badmouthing me,” she said
