It’s been confirmed by different sources that the well known Galaxy FM’S presenter DJ Nimrod and singer Maddox have been arrested and are behind bars.
These two individuals were spotted defying the Standard Operating Procedures that were passed by the President on curfew hours as they were found driving late at night.
Nimrod and Maddox are still detained and have not yet been served with a police bond meaning
they don’t know when they will be released.
“Curfew time is maintained at 7:00 p.m. Number two, boda bodas are now allowed to move up to 18:00 hours,” Museveni said. The country will remain under curfew until sufficient vaccination of the eligible population of children aged 12 to 18 years old has taken place,” added Museveni.
DJ Nimrod originally known as Nabeeta Nimrod is a radio presenter and a club DJ. He works at Kampala’s youth radio station known as Galaxy FM. Nimrod rose to fame in 2013 after hosting a radio show known as mid-morning Tukone at Galaxy FM. Currently, he hosts an evening show known as the evening rush at Galaxy FM together with Prim Asiimwe.
