After a blogger and strong critic of the Uganda government, Fred Lumbuye kajubi, gaining his freedoms after months of being detained in Turkey prison.
He took it upon himself to say thank you to all the people that never left him when he wanted them most.
Through, Nkunyingi Muwanda who confirmed his release on his social media platforms. Saying he has had a telephone conversation with him. He added saying that Lumbuye asked him to extend his appreciation to Ugandans. Who have been there for him during this hard time.
“I have this morning personally held a telephone conversation with Fred Kajubi Lumbuye. He is fine and well. He is out of prison and thanked you all for your prayers and efforts. We shall keep you posted Nkuyingi Muwanda MP #shadow foreign affairs Minister” he posted
However, it should be remembered that it is not only Lumbuye who has been in prison on the case of offensive communication. But also people like journalist Kayz and another blogger Isma who were recently bailed out of kitalya on the same case..
Fred Lumbuye’s release ends three months of controversy surrounding his mysterious disappearance.
