A few days ago, Twitter was filled with grief as many were mourning the death of Turyahabwa Drake who passed on on a fateful night of Monday, 5th July at around 9:00 pm. The family has started the #Justice4Drake hash tag to seek justice for the dead.
The deceased was 24 years and a Kabale based photographer who had just graduated this year
on 28th May from Kabale University with a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management.
It is allegedly said that Turyahabwa Drake died in a car accident that took place at highland along Kabale-Kisoro Road and was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kirwa Cell, Northern Division in Kabale
Municipality.
From the information that came to our table today that the family of the
deceased are challenging the rumors linking to Drake’s Death to accident as false statement
stressing that a postmortem report indicate that the body never had any injury related to an
accident. The report indicated that the body only had one pierced wound which was at the back
of his head.
