Daddy Andre Biography
Born Ojambo Andrew alias Daddy Andre was born in the early 12/08/1980. Is a Ugandan recording
artiste, songwriter, audio producer with an origin from Eastern Uganda.
Daddy Andre born to Mr. Ojambo Jackson and Margret Nekesa. He is from a family of six children born and raised from the outskirts of Kampala in Nsambya. He is well known for being versatile and singing in more than three languages. The family spent most of their early years in Nsambya, a Kampala suburb.
Education
Daddy Andre was unfortunate that at the age of six he lost his mother something that subjected him
to being an orphan at an early age. And as he clocked 13 years old, his father as well passed on
something that hampered his school and primary education.
He however joined Modern secondary school for his Ordinary level for (UCE) before proceeding with Advanced level (UACE) at Old Kampala Secondary School. Daddy Andre has over time confessed that he has not been a fan to school so he did not go far with studies.
Music Journey
Andre has been heard in lines of several artistes music intros ‘Andre on the Beat’, he has over time
affirmed he started by singing before learning music production, Andre since childhood at the age of
six realized he had talent in singing and with time he nurtured his art and talent in singing until when
he was a teenager.
Andre says he earned his stage name Daddy Andre because of being a generous and philanthropist
to his fellows during school. Andre specialized in Afro beat, Hip hop, Dancehall, Afro pop, and RnB where he revealed his musical journey started back in 2010.
That is when he started production and writing songs for his friends and in the year 2014, he had come up with more than enough break through songs both in Production and writing.
During this spell, Daddy Andre started being noticed and got his demand from several clients and
producing a great number of songs with top artistes such as Don’t Stop – John Blaq and Andre, Weekend – Sheebah Ft Runtown, Sweet Love – John Blaq and Vinka.
