City Blogger Justus Amanya Turned Preacher Found Dead
Justus Amanya, commonly known as “Byangoma” a city blogger and commentator turned preacher was recently found dead at his home.
Before he gave his life to Christ, Justus Amanya was a party animal who hung out in Kampala’s high end bars and always had info about Kampala’s trending topics. Being a heavy drinker and addict party animal, Justus’ decision to give his life to Christ shocked many including his nocturnal friends and followers.
Amanya hit the limelight in 2014 when he started a social media campaign dubbed #stopMTNgonya. Which his MTN followers faced degraded MTN data bundle activation which caused delayed activations and inaccurate data bundles. In this same year he delivered a petition to the then Speaker of Parliament Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga seeking her intervention on the same MTN issue.
However, on the morning of his death, Justus failed to attend his usual Sunday church service. And this was a concern to his friends as all their calls and messages went unanswered only to be found lifeless at his home in one of Kampala’s suburbs.
It should be noted that Justus Amanya isn’t the only one found lifeless in his crib, MTN Supu Advert James Eyangu a few months after his graduation. Enid Twijukye who was burnt by the son of former ISO boss and so many others.
