Slowly and slowly, police brutality is becoming a new normal, where people are now set to accept that it is part of them and stay with it. This is not a good note, after another young man aged 26 Mugume Patrick succumbs to wounds he sustained from a police beating in Uganda.
According to his relative, a one Linda Grace (Social Media name) this youthful Mugume Patrick died from a hospital, days after he was brutalized by police on some post in Fort Portal city, Western part of Uganda. Grace continues to throw her pain to the police boss Asan Kasingye although she has not got any help of yet.
“My innocent 26 years young brother Mugume Patrick has succumbed to injuries obtained from a police post in Fort Portal city. After he was beaten badly, the pain is real! There is urgent need to #StopPoliceBrutality. It is way too much” In pain Linda Grace tweeted.

It should however be noted that, the call for the stopping of police brutality in Uganda has been on for many months. That is after very many people fell victims to the act and people wondered if the police is to protect and serve them, then why brutalize them!
