Uganda’s sensational rap king Bigtril has slammed the Ugandan audio music producers for demanding for a pay raise and questioning NBS’ Justin Bass’ role on the UPRS body ‘representing’ audio producers. He has asked the producers to educate themselves or else they will die broke.
However, the rapper who doubles as a producer and musician questioned the integrity of the
producers protesting and seeking payment from the top artistes cautioning them to first Educate
Top Uganda Music Producers please stop being cheap and accepting low pay from Big Artistes,
educate yourselves on how to be paid… music makes millions off songs all produce and you
get paid 1- 1.5 million, musicians gon on to buy cars and build houses… EDUCATE
YOURSELVES" Bigtril ridiculed audio producers.
This development however picked the attention of the Party after Party hitmaker when the
producers started advocating for a pay raise from top artistes asserting that musicians make
much money from the same music they produce coupled with misrepresentation on the UPRS
