British-Ugandan actor Daniel Kaluuya has received a nomination in the prestigious 78th Golden
Globe awards. He earned the nomination for his role in the movie ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ which
premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival.
Daniel has been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture alongside Sacha Baron Cohen – The Trial of the Chicago 7, Jared Leto – The Little Things, Bill Murray – On the
Rocks and Leslie Odom Jr – One Night in Miami.
Daniel Kaluuya is a British actor and writer. Kaluuya began his career as a teenager in improvisational theatre. He subsequently appeared in the first two seasons of the British television series Skins, in which he co-wrote some of the episodes.
The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood
Foreign Press Association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in film, both
American and international, and American television.
Upon his big nomination, he is all covered in excitement and so happy about this great milestone he has reached as an actor. It is always everyone’s dream to reach such a milestone after putting in all the efforts to earn what it takes.
