Uganda Registers First COVID-19 Death – MoH Confirms

Ever since Uganda registered her first COVID-19 patient a few months ago, it has been registering only recoveries where they surpass 1000 out of the 1069 confirmed  cases the country has so far registered and today the 23rd of July Uganda registers a death of one person from the killer virus.

This is not good news at all and this very news has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health Uganda where the deceased is said to have died of COVID-19 ‘related’ disease where she showed exactly the same symptoms of the virus  as said by the Director General Health Services Dr. Henry Mwebesa.

The deceased counted as the first COVID-19 death in Uganda is a 34 year old Ugandan female a resident of Namisindwa district that has been a support staff at Namisindwa district. It is further learnt that the deceased has been put down by the virus for a few days before she kicked the bucket. May her soul rest peacefully.
