Feeling unappreciated, Michael Azira a Ugandan professional footballer and midfielder for Uganda Cranes was also triggered to lay down his tools saying he thinks it is time for him to move on. This was announced today in an official letter.
Michael Azira has today availed his retirement letter to the FUFA president’s desk. In his letter, he was able to appreciate the Uganda cranes team for giving him an opportunity to represent the county and his family.
He went a head and showed gratitude to all the people he has worked with assuring them of how the memories will always stay with him and he will always cherish them. Sadly this follows a wave of high profile retirements from serving the Uganda cranes.
Among them we have former Hassan Wasswa Mawanda the former assistant captain of the team and Captain Denis Onyango. This all follows the words that came from the mouth of FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo recently.
“What type of players are these? What type of football do you play? Before you demand for money what have you put of table? They went and played shitty football and came back. Okay!!bWhat did you do to deserve the money?” Moses Mugogo the FUFA president.
