The Uganda communications Commission has slated tomorrow the 29th of December 2020 as the day to meet with the ‘Tumbiza Sound’ singer Eezzy. This is about his banned song of the same title and hopefully, he is being called for a ‘positive’ meeting.
This development comes after the Ministry of Health directed authorities to ban the “Tumbiza sound”
banger asserting that it contradicts with guidelines issued in preventing the spread of COVID-19. In a letter dated 23rd is directed to Eezzy summoning him to meet with UCC officials.
With at least three of his representatives as they forge away forward whether to have the song enjoy airplay. In a letter part of it reads as below,
“The Uganda Communications Commission (the commission) has received a complaint against your song Tumbiza Sound, the complaint states that the ‘Tumbiza Sound ’song contains messages contradicting the ministry of health standard operating procedures on COPVID-19prevention” The letter partially reads.
We shall keep you posted on the latest developments as events unfold. Keep it Times Uganda.
