Gospel music fans in Uganda were left disappointed this week after famous US gospel musician Travis Greene didn’t turn up in the country. Greene was scheduled to perfom in the East African country on the 6th and 7th December at Imperial Royale Hotel and Lugogo Hockey Grounds respectively. The 38 year old singer took to his social media handles to inform his fans why he didn’t make the much anticipated trip.
He was supposed to have performed both in Uganda and Rwanda respectively on his African tour. However, the promoter responsible for the shows failed to book tickets for him and his entire team from Lagos, Nigeria leaving them stranded. The Made A Way singer however said that he’s optimistic he will soon find a way to perfom in the two countries by God’s grace.
“I have Unfortunate News for Uganda and Rwanda. For reasons beyond my understanding, our flights were never purchased by the promoter to come to your country. We’re currently in Africa and we were looking forward to worshipping with you this week. It’s been a while since my team has dealt with this level of unprofessionalism and I pray that the promoter will at least refund you for your tickets.”
“I am sure that God will orchestrate our paths to cross very soon. Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I’m so sorry and I truly love you.”
