TRAGEDY: Four Arrested in Kiboga over Kidnap and Murder of a 3 Year Toddler

Residents in Kiboga still in shock after four were arrested in suspicion to having a hand in the alleged kidnap and mysterious murder of a three year old boy identified as Charles Katongole.

The Kiboga police is still investigating the four suspects and is yet to realize a report in the
relation to the murder of the three year old boy.

According to Charles’ parents Ronald Kasibante and Betty Tulina, their son left home on 19th April 2021 to go to the neighbors place to play as he usually did but unfortunately, did not make a return this time round.

This prompted his mother to go on a search and was then informed that her son had left under the guidance of a one Kintu. Her mother intrusion lead her to ask for a direction to Kintu’s place and when she meet Kintu, he looked like he had just had a blood bath.

The mother informed the neighbors who accompanied her to Kintu’s place at Ndabiriza village but didn’t find the child. Instead they found the said Kintu with blood stained clothes,” informed ASP Rachael Kawala.

Police sniffer dogs later lead a troop of detectives to a suspected crime scene where they discovered the child’s clothes that were soaked and dripping with blood along side a chunk of flesh assumed to be the victims’ lower chin lip.

Later on, the team was lead by the sniffer dog to Kanoga Swamp where a mutilated body to match the description of Charles was discovered although some body parts of the victim are yet to be recovered.

Kintu who is the prime suspect in this Kiboga kidnap along side the other suspects are currently behind bars as they wait for justice to her course.
