The regional search for Miss Tourism Uganda is set to kick off this July from the Ankole region on the 31st.
Basing on Allan Kanyike the C.E.O of Miss Tourism Uganda, the theme for this year’s pageant is “African Pride” and it is aimed at promoting Uganda’s diverse cultural basket.
However, unlike the previous pageants when twelve regions were included, only nine regions of Ankole, Busoga, Yeap, Eastern, Karamoja, West Nile, Bunyoro and Buganda to represent the entire country.
After the regional selections, the most outstanding contestants shall converge at Kampala Serena hotel, Kampala on 1st October to battle for the position of Miss Tourism Uganda 2021/22.
This year’s Miss Tourism 2021 media launch occured yesterday at the Uganda Museum in which the layout for the year was shared to the public so that they are aware of the happenings.
So that in case anyone is interested in representing their region, they could come up and show how could they’re and informed about the cultural dynamics of their region or country.

Although the pageant couldn’t take place last year due to the deadly coronavirus, looks like this year’s pageant shall be a memorable one basing on the theme that directly related to our country.
