Just a few days after the over 30 years old St Peter’s Church in Ndeeba a few kilometres from Kampala City Center was brought down by a certain tycoon who owns a garage in Ndeeba with protection from Uganda Police Force, many people were left weeping profusely and others vowed to ask God to punish those involved, now another church has been brought down.
This Oasis of Life Destiny church has been brought down by Kampala City Council Authority and Uganda Police Force. In addition, in Namuwongo Soweto village a few kilometers from Kampala city center also. This growing Pentecostal church has left many shedding tears saying this has been their home and they have been going there to rest from their worries.
It has been headed and pastored by Pastor Ivan Obbo and efforts to reach him for a word has been futile although we have not given up on that. The reasons for its bringing down have not been shared yet by either KCCA or Uganda Police Force. This is now the second church to be brought down in barely 10 days as people continue to curse.
