Investigative journalist Solomon Serwanjja has announced his plan to exit NBS TV at the end of
this month July 2021. He is set to join African investigative house.
Basing of award winning journalist, his time at NBS TV has really been fruitful and enjoyable,
however, it is time for him to move onto the next step in his life so as to enhance growth in his
career.
Before joining NBS TV, Solomon Serwanjja had worked for a good number of years at Serena based NTV
Uganda where he established his wonder journalist skills making him a hot cake in the world of
media.
However, he marked the greatest milestone in his career when he started working with NBS TV
as both an investigative journalist and a news anchor. While at NBS TV, he dug into the vice of
stealing government manufactured medicines which landed him an award from his “Stealing
from the sick” story.
But we all know nothing lasts forever, so today, Solomon Serwanjja announced that his days at
NBS TV are numbered as he will be heading to his next work station at the end of this month.
The news was revealed through a tweet that read;
“On 31st July, I will be leaving @nbstv. It has been such an honor to serve for the last 6 years.
Thank you @KKariisa and the entire @nextmediaug family for the support. I will now focus on
my new role as the Executive Director @AfricanIIJ, the home of investigative journalism.” Solomon Serwanjja noted.
We definitely wish Solomon Serwanjja the best of luck in his new career path as he embarks on
a field that he is usually an expert at. May he continue to thrive and unveil some of the most
cancerous vices in society.
