News getting to our desk indicate that, Tanzanian singer and entertainer Shaban Mwakyusa aka Rayvanny has quit from Diamond Platnumz’ Wasafi Records. In addition, he has not quit to sit and eat, but rather has started his own record label called “Next Level Music.“

While speaking in a recent interview, Ray Vanny/Rayvanny revealed how he is starting his own label known as “Next Level Music.” He continues to assert that, this will seen as ‘a dream come true’ and the record label will be signing more different artistes.

He continues to assert that, he still has time at Diamond Platnumz Wasafi records, and that if he was to quit, he would have done so by now. But close sources reveals that, he is on the verge of leaving the label and concentrate on his own created Next Level Music.

I am opening a record label and I will have artists in it, if I wanted to leave Wasafi, I’d have left by now “– Rayvanny asserted. To prove his point, singer and his boss Diamond Platnumz has said that, Ray Vanny has built one of the biggest studios in Tanzania and he is proud of him.

Not Sure if I’m allowed to talk about this but Rayvanny is starting his own label  very very soon, that label is big .I was looking at his studios and told him ,’Ray Vanny ,this studio is big ‘.The day he will post it ,as we speak it will be the number one best studio in the country.”– Diamond Platnumz chirped.

Additionally, Rayvanny is the second big star to leave Wasafi Records after Harmonize, who quit and started his Konde Gang Music label. We however do not know the penalty Rayvanny will face after quitting, but what we are sure of, Harmonize paid a close to 100 million shillings to leave the label.
