Ronald Mayinja mocks Bobi Wine during NRM campaign performance

Veteran musician Ronald Mayinja has continued to display his loyalty to the NRM by puffing a cigarette while performing at a campaign venue, a stunt aimed at angering NUP supporters.
In a video that has surfaced online, Mayinja is seen enjoying a cigarette and releasing plenty of smoke. He did this while singing his new song Akalulu which he composed for President Museveni.
It is believed that it was done to mock NUP candidate Bobi Wine who previously had a prolonged battle with drugs.
A few weeks ago, mysterious people pinned posters with old images showing Bobi’s drug addiction days around the city in a bid to discredit him.
Ronald Mayinja is among several artists who have defected from Bobi’s camp to the NRM. According to Times Uganda credible news sources, they were wooed by lucrative offers.
