Musician Ronald Mayinja who due to controversial scenarios opted to dump the then Bobi Wine’s famous People Power pressure group (NUP) as a coordinator and opted for NRM in search for green pastures. Mayinja upon his arrival in NRM, his was rewarded with a brand new land cruiser V8 plus a lump some
amount of cash.
However things did not go well and later the singer sold off the car which created bad blood
with the NRM party heads. Living unsatisfied and uncomfortable life, Ronald Mayinja tried to make a U-turn to People Power NUP but was rather given a deaf ear by the movement leader, the embattled singer however this morning got his fortune when he was given a second chance and opportunity to join the new vibrant NUP.
Mayinja was ushered in with a big chant and ululations from the ground crowd as he received his NUP
membership card. However, it’s not easy but rather puts (him) Mayinja to task as the NUP leader cautioned him (Mayinja) to be careful with his decisions.
“My brother Ronald Mayinja has inspired many of us over the years, and I am sure even when he wandered off at some point, yet I know that his heart was always with us. I am grateful that you comrades have given him a warm welcome back home” Bobi Wine noted.
