The Zoe Ministries leader and self styled, Prophet Elvis Mbonye wants to meet all the candidates so that he can prophesy who will be the next President of Uganda come January 14. This comes in place after the prophet says that he has a message for Ugandans about the presidential race.
“Some people want me to prophecy about the 2020 elections, for me to do that, I want all the candidates to come before me, asking am I the one, let me tell you I know what is going to happen. When it comes to the future I am there,” Prophet Mbonye quipped amidst chants from his followers.
Elvis Mbonye while smiling from ear to ear, assured his followers that beginning next Tuesday, the power of prophecy and revelation is going to strike again on Zoe grounds. A sign that he already has a strong message for Ugandans.
“There is a great mandate that the spirit of the Lord has laid upon us to take on things, you all know when I talk on something, I talk it full force. I will be prophesying and giving revelations, I will be coming in contact with you,” Mbonye said.
It should be noted that Nine men and one woman paraded off with President Yoweri Museveni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the next general elections. The total 10 presidential candidates are taking on Museveni as he seeks re-election on January 14, 2021.
These are Maj. Gen. (rtd) Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), Eng. Patrick Amuriat of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Norbert Mao of Democratic Party (DP) and Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
Others are independent candidates that are, Lt Gen. (rtd) Henry Tumukunde, Joseph Kabuleta, Fred Mwesigye, Willy Mayambala, John Katumba and Nancy Kalembe, the only female contender.
It should be remembered that Mbonye has been involved in many controversial prophecies and others have come to pass. Those that have come to pass of recent include that of Joe Biden being the president of the US, and the death of Pastor Yiga Aloysius.
